Talk It Up Thursday #5

June 16, 2016 By Michelle Knight 4 Comments

Welcome to Talk It Up Linkup Party! Come join us as we linkup our parenting, homeschool, homemaking, encouragement posts. No week will ever be the same but the knowledge we share to help other mothers’ on this journey will be priceless. Please no giveaway or other link party promotions. All posts should have appropriate content.

News for the Week:

My 7 year old has been chosen for the All*Star team for baseball. He had a great year, and our 5 year old learned so much from playing this year. He may be chosen next year if he works hard at learning the game.

School is out for us and I am working on some of my projects around the house, it is so hot that we can’t go swimming in the middle of the day. It has to be morning or evening to swim.

I am working on being more disciplined to get up each morning before the kids to continue in my Bible Studies. The only problem….the kids get up too! It seems they have internal alarm clocks that say “wake up earlier than you do during school”! Oh Well, at least they see me putting my priority first at the beginning of my day.

Enjoy the party and make sure you comment so the others’ know you have visited their blog!!!!

What will happen on this link party each week is:

I will feature one post that has had the most clicks, and recommend some of the other posts that have had a lot of interests from readers. Please tell your blog friends and pass around the news to join our link party each week at 7am on Thursday morning. It will be open for 3 days and will close Sun. at 8pm.

From last week, I would like to feature:

7 Smart College Admissions Hacks For Homeschoolers

This post holds some great tips for college admissions. This is my oldest son’s senior year and we will be facing SAT’s, visiting colleges, and more. It will be a fun year, but stressful. Prayer is always an first response when I am stressed.
