Our Homeschool Week

August 16, 2014 By Michelle Knight Leave a Comment

This week was our first full week of homeschool. My teen attends a hybrid where he is in an actual school two days per week and then virtual for three days.

My first grader enjoyed all of his subjects. He did have a few small complaints about the time.  We had to have a talk about school being longer this year because he is getting older.

My preschooler is enjoying school, but who wouldn’t when mom is giving undivided attention and playing games! I am trying to make it fun because that is one reason we homeschool.  I want my kids to have a love for learning.

The baby was watching each of his older brothers learn, and was elated that as they finished each one took a turn to entertain him.  About halfway through the week a virus hit our family and each child took their turn with it.  On the sick days we did our subjects but with a little less detail.

Of course we all had a great learning experience in our new homeschool room! It is very nice to be organized and have room to spread out comfortably and learn.

How do you homeschool? What do you do to stay organized?
Cheers,
Michelle
