Talk It Up Thursday #9

July 13, 2016 By Michelle Knight 2 Comments

Welcome to Talk It Up Linkup Party! Come join us as we linkup our parenting, homeschool, homemaking, encouragement posts. No week will ever be the same but the knowledge we share to help other mothers’ on this journey will be priceless. Please no giveaway or other link party promotions. All posts should have appropriate content.

News for the Week:

This week we have had more rain so I have been trying to keep the boys’ busy indoors. We have established a regular time for reading aloud to each other, and that seems to be working well. It has been hard to accomplish this in the summer due to the constant running.

My oldest son (17) had his wisdom teeth out on Thursday of last week…..he stayed in most of the weekend:)

The Fourth of July was wet and chilly most of the day, but did clear up close to dark. However, we did not see any fireworks this year. It was such a busy day that everyone was exhausted and went to bed at 8:00 pm.

I will be going on vacation next week, but still come visit on Thursday.

Enjoy the party and make sure you comment so the others’ know you have visited their blog!!!!

What will happen on this link party each week is:

I will feature one post that has had the most clicks, and recommend some of the other posts that have had a lot of interests from readers. Please tell your blog friends and pass around the news to join our link party each week at 7am on Thursday morning. It will be open for 3 days and will close Sun. at 8pm.

From last week, I would like to feature:

Is Modern Parenting Wearing You Out?

You are figuring out the contrast condition between modern and old ways of parenting very well. I admit that parenting in the olden days were much easier than in the modern days. Grandmothers and grandfathers complain on how different modern children from olden day children.
