As I run out of various products in my home I am trying to implement more “frugal” green cleaning.
Today as I was cleaning our bathroom I realized that my cleaning closet lacked my toilet bowl cleaner. Well I have been wanting to try a recipe.. It worked beautifully.
Here are the ingredients:
1. 1 cup baking soda
2. 1 cup white vinegar
The steps to cleaning are as follows:
Sprinkle the baking powder around the bowl area inside.
Add the 1 cup of vinegar around the bowl.
It will begin to fizz.
Take the brush and scrub as the combination is fizzing.
Flush. Check to see if all stains are gone. If not, repeat the process but let the vinegar sit for 15 min. Then repeat the scrubbing.
When process is complete there should be no stains left. For tougher stains let the solution sit longer than 15 min.
