Our Family

Our family is unique.  That is too say the least.  I have 3 children ages 14, 4, and 20 months.  They keep me and my husband very busy.  We have all boys and they are all full of energy and ideas.

We do homeschool the oldest, and he attends a public online school, and then 2 days a week he goes to an actual school building.   I also have recently started homeschooling my 4 year old, and the baby works on projects with us at the table.
Sometimes…it gets a little crazy!
We try to spend as much time with our kids as possible, because they are only little once.  They do things that we would rather them not do, but that is part of parenting.  No one said it was easy.  My week is usually centered around the kids with their activities and outings.  We are involved in Scouts, choir, soccer, baseball, piano and you name it we have done it.  I try to limit activities, to one instrument, and a sport.  We attend church on Sundays, volunteer in church and try to complete one service for someone else each month.  At least that is our goal.
My husband, son, and I all attend a bible study each week.  I think that we need individual instruction from God’s word.  We get our guidance on Sunday, our instruction on Monday, and then get to practice what we have learned the rest of the week.  Sometimes, I think I need more instruction.

My goal in life is for my children  to grow up respecting us and others in society, and to live a godly life.  I also try to be a good wife to my husband.  He is very good to me, and is very supportive of my ideas.

Everyday brings something new.

I love stories.  Does your family life tell a story?
